We are thrilled to announce our latest achievement, a prestigious recognition from our esteemed client, Focchi. This accolade celebrates our exceptional work on the façade installation for the remarkable project, “44 Merrion Street” in Leeds.

44 Merrion Street is a testament to modern architecture and engineering excellence. Spearheaded by the renowned architectural firm, Simpson Haugh and Partners Architects, and expertly managed by HG Construction Ltd as the main contractor, this project has truly raised the bar for construction in Leeds.

Our team is entrusted with the critical responsibility of installing a diverse range of components, including SSG units, alternating triple glazing vision units, enamelled DGU spandrel panels with varied grey tones, and anodized perforated aluminium purge vents. Our commitment to precision and attention to detail ensured that these elements seamlessly came together to create a façade that is both functional and visually striking.

Situated within the vibrant Arena Quarter of Leeds’ city center, and in close proximity to the city’s prestigious universities, 44 Merrion Street is a student residential-led development that adds to the growing skyline of tall buildings in the area. It will offer a world-class living experience, providing a total of 660 bed spaces across a mix of self-contained studios and 5-bed cluster apartments, complete with generous communal living spaces.

The project goes beyond just accommodation; it prioritizes the well-being and comfort of its residents. Students will have access to an array of on-site amenities, including a fitness studio, games room, multimedia and cinema rooms, laundry facilities, and numerous lounges and study spaces. Some of these spaces open out onto private rooftop gardens, providing an oasis of tranquility amidst the bustling cityscape.

Our partnership with Focchi, along with the collaboration of the entire project team, will result in a façade that not only meets the highest standards of functionality but also contributes to the architectural marvel that is 44 Merrion Street.
