Project Description
The 43-storey tower comprises London’s first Pan Pacific Hotel and will provide 5-star wellness, meeting and events spaces and a 380-seat double height ballroom/conference facility. 1 – 3 bed private residences occupy the upper levels of the main tower building. The building’s sophisticated form steps as it rises, with the bronze patinated brise-soleil acting as a textural screening device. Animated by landscaping and retail, restaurants and cafes within a renovated Devonshire Row, the new Bishopsgate Plaza will become a vibrant heart in the city.
Skyklass was responsible for the installation of the following:
- the feature steel and glass roof to the top of the Devonshire Row grade II listed building consisting of approx. 30 t steel load-bearing structure featuring 317 differently sized, diamond-shaped aluminium elements with glass and metal panel infills in anodised bronze colour.
- the windows to the south elevation of the Devonshire Row building over 4 levels
- the glazed lift façade on the south elevation of the Devonshire Row.
- various shop windows and entrance facades to the ground floor of the Devonshire Row.
